NovaCraft UI
What it is
NovaCraft UI is an open-source, dark-first React component library in TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. It has glass, glow and gradient variants, a live theme playground, and blocks and templates you can copy into your app.
I built NovaCraft UI, a dark-first React component library with a full documentation site. Developers copy typed primitives into their own apps and theme them with CSS variables, using glass, glow and gradient treatments.
Result
NovaCraft UI is open source with a live docs site. Developers can browse every component, tune a theme and drop the code straight into their own apps.
The problem
Most component libraries look the same and fight you when you want a bolder, futuristic look. I wanted a set that is striking by default, stays accessible and has no package lock-in.
What it does
- 54 documented, typed components across form inputs, layout and navigation, data display, and feedback and overlays, plus Form, Chart, Carousel and Sidebar
- Default, outline, ghost, glass, glow, gradient and soft variants on the same primitives
- A theme playground where colors, radius, type and effects are live CSS variables you can export
- Ready-made blocks and full-page templates built from the primitives
- Keyboard support, labeled controls, a skip link, visible focus and a light theme one toggle away
How it's built
- React, TypeScript and Vite, styled with Tailwind CSS and built on Radix UI primitives
- Copy-paste distribution: take a component from
src/components/ui, point the@alias at your source and bring the CSS variables - ESLint,
tsctype checks, Vitest and CI on every change. MIT licensed
